Situation
A sellable-quantity field was hardcoded to 3 with no rationale behind it. Three sales meant out-of-stock, and out-of-stock kills visibility. The system was suppressing itself.
★ A "3 for now" value became the ceiling while nobody looked at it again. A placeholder with no rationale has no review trigger either.
Why raising it changed nothing
The same resource had a separate per-order quantity cap, also set to 3.
★★ Where two ceilings apply, throughput is set by the lower one. Raising one alone changes nothing.
